The eponymous gorge, often incorrectly spelled Wadi Mujid, is known as Jordan's Grand Canyon and home to several seasonal and year-round rivers. It also hosts one of the most stellar viewpoints in the country.

This trail is in the famous Wadi al-Mujib valley in the Mujib Nature Reserve. This is not a self-guided tour. The trail is managed by the RSCN. You need climbing equipment to descend a 30 meter/ 100 feet waterfall (provided by the RSCN) and you can enter the reserve only with a guide. The trail is in the Mujib Biosphere Reserve, the lowest.
